The goal of Soccer Chelsea is to ensure all players have a team to play on, appropriate to their interests and abilities. Our philosophy supports the concept of life long play and healthy living for our community. Soccer Chelsea offers several programs for adult players:
Chelsea has Senior Men teams in the Ligue de Soccer sénior de l'Outaouais (LSSO) against other teams in the Outaouais. Games are played on Tuesday and Wednesday nights and practices are held weekly. The number of teams to be entered are decided based on the number of registered players. Interested players are strongly encouraged to register early and to indicate which level they are interested in playing.
The Soccer Outaouais (SO) offers competitive indoor soccer for Senior Men within the Ligue de soccer sénior de l'Outaouais (LSSO) from October to March. Details regarding the league as well as the registration form can be found on the SO web site. Players wishing to play in the LSSO must register as a team. No individual player registrations are accepted. A team manager, coach or team organizer must complete the registration form available on our website (see registration information).

There are two options for adult men and women wishing to play recreational soccer. Pre-registration is required for all players, however for both options there is no cost for registered coaches of Chelsea Soccer teams or adult players. Unregistered players must supply a signed FSQ member affiliation form and payment to Soccer Chelsea at a registration night at the Meredith Centre.
Option 1. Sunday Evenings Recreational: from June until September, non-competitive pick-up games are played on an informal basis.
Option 2. Tuesday Evening House League: this is a recreational house league with teams playing a schedule of 7 aside games; teams are always a mix of men and women.
Chelsea has a division 3 mixed adult team to play 7 aside games in the Ligue de soccer senior de l'Outaouais (LSSO). Games are played Sunday evenings on artificial turf at the Mont Bleu and UQO soccer complexes. Players are strongly encouraged to contact us if they are interested in playing.
Chelsea has teams registered in the Ottawa Carleton Soccer League (OCSL). Five of the teams are for players aged 35 and older and one for the 50+ age category. Games are played Friday nights at either 6:30 or 8:30 PM. Away games are played throughout the Ottawa-Carleton region. The OCSL has approximately 100 teams organized into eight divisions; teams change their division (moving up or down) down depending on their standings at the end of each season.
If you are interested in playing, please contact our Adult Coordinator from the Contacts list. New players will be considered for teams appropriate to their skills and experience.

This is the best house league in the region. Indoor games are played at the Connor’s centre on Montcalm in Hull. We keep it friendly, competitive and include all levels of play. The league is intended for players over 35 but there are a few younger players that have been “grand-fathered” into the league.
This is a very friendly league in the spirit of pickup soccer. Play is self-governed - no referees. Play is for 60 minutes, non-stop. Rotate the goal keeper - everyone should get a chance to play nets.
