Soccer 2010 registration periods

Important Deadlines: Players under 18 are guaranteed a place only if they are registered before March 20. For older players, a place is guaranteed only if you played with Chelsea last summer and you register before March 20 and there is a team for you. Late registrations may be refused if a program is full or if a league deadline has expired.
Family Plan: Under the Club’s Family Plan, the oldest youth player, and any senior or O35 player, pay full fees, but other youth family players receive a 10% discount, provided all family members register at the same time.
Where to register?
Come to the registration evening on Tuesday March 16, 2010 and meet the Technical Committee/Executive and find out information on technical programs, camps and volunteering. We'll answer any questions you have.
You can pick up a registration package at the Chelsea Town Hall or online under the forms section of our website. The FSQ will accept a copy of the FSQ Member Affiliation Form, signed in blue ink, but not a photocopy or faxed copy of a signed form.

1-Players may register at the Chelsea Town Hall, in person. The Municipality of Chelsea will not accept any FSQ Member Affiliation Form that is incomplete; not signed in blue ink; or submitted without payment in full. Incomplete applications will not be processed until all issues are resolved. 2-Players may register at the Chelsea Town Hall after-hours by depositing a completed package in the drop-off box. Registration Fees, Electronic Photos & Photo Sessions
New in 2010 - Electronic photos: Passports will be replaced by a new multi-year player identification card. Photos can only be taken by Soccer Chelsea with FSQ approved equipment. Players must attend photo sessions on the Tuesday March 16, 2010 registration evening and on Saturday March 27, 2010 from 09:00-15:00 at the Chelsea Community Center.

3-Fees increase by $25 after March 19 4-Ottawa-Carleton Soccer League5-Registered Senior or Old-timer players who also wish to play adult recreation soccer must register separately and pay an additional $10, not $65.
Officials and Coaches must register
Soccer Chelsea coaches, assistant coaches and other team helpers must complete a FSQ Member Affiliation Form. Also, coaches and assistant coaches must consent to a police check if they did not do so in 2008 or 2009.
Team Selection, Spring Training & Summer Camps
Team Selection: All players from U-9 to U-18 participate in the team selection process. The indoor session will be held from April 23 to April 25. Additional outdoor sessions will follow for all players in May. See Team Selection section of the website for exact times and locations.
Spring Training: The pre-season training camp for 2010 players will be held from March 26 to April 18. Schedule is available online under the "Spring Camp" section of our website. Cost is $60.00; cheques payable to Soccer Chelsea.
Summer Camps: Two Summer soccer camps will be offered: the first from July 05 to July 09 and the second from July 12 to July 16. The camps are for players of all ages. Team rates are available. Refer to the "Summer Camp" section of our web site for details.
